Hello and welcome to the very first Families for Children Podcast.
In this series of podcasts we are hoping to look at various aspects of adoption to give you a good insight into what adoption is all about.
In the first 6 episodes we will aim to introduce listeners to the various stages of adoption, and these will be a good introduction to those newly considering whether adoption is right for you.
All the episodes feature interviews with a range of adopters, adoptees and experienced adoption workers - so you will be hearing from people who have had direct experience of adoption and what it has meant to them.
If you are already an adopter, you might find Episode 6 of particular interest as it is about Adoption Support – and gives a broad overview of the types of therapeutic adoption support adopters can access if required.
