Most mothers will never have to find out what happens when their child becomes the victim of a horrendous crime. In Episode 2, Beatrice visits the local hospital where I find certain members of staff unsympathetic. There are mysterious calls from an unknown number on Bea's phone - lots of them - coming from a WhatsApp account with a selfie of a young man. The horrific reality that Bea's attacker has somehow got hold of her phone number shocks me to my core. Phil is enraged.
Once back at home, the morning brings a new horror. How to tell Iris, Bea's 15-year-old sister, what has happened.
