Dice Allah en el Corán rememorando este milagro: “Glorificado sea Quien transportó a Su Siervo durante la noche, desde la mezquita sagrada [de La Meca] a la mezquita lejana [de Jerusalén] cuyos alrededores bendijimos, para mostrarle algunos de Nuestros signos. Él todo lo oye, todo lo ve”. (Corán 17:1)
