All-aboard the Polar Express, (even though the uncanny valley ain't got NOTHIN' on these horrific turtle-suits). We take a break from the regular programming to celebrate the holidays in a totally tubular way: by watching the notorious live-action TMNT Christmas special, 'We Wish You a Turtle Christmas'. This is a real treat of an episode for everyone involved, as we have a once-lost piece of classic Turtle media that some have heard of, but few have witnessed. Meet Dan and Bryan, 2 36-ish year old fellas from opposite ends of New York State. Join us while we recap the animated series that played a major role in shaping our (as well as many of your) childhood: the 1987 Fred Wolf produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! We revisit the series 35 years later to see how well each episode holds up, what our takeaways were/are now, and generally wax nostalgic over the campy classic to try to put a spin on something a zillion other dudes our age have done already.
