How can a believer be faithful to the end when it is so tempting to love the world? In wanting Timothy to be preserved, Paul gave him a holistic admonition. He wanted Timothy to consistently pursue the right things. He wanted him to keep the pursuit of a sanctified life, the faithfulness to the Gospel teaching, and the blamelessness of his testimony in the ministry.
