[Aziraphale] had just turned the page when he heard it. A soft but distinct thud-thump. Thud-thump. Thud-thump. Clearly coming from the machine Crowley had used.
At first he tried to ignore it. It was probably just the machine making machine-sounds. Nothing to be alarmed about. Right? But what if it wasn’t? What if Crowley had dropped something in there along with his laundry? A wallet perhaps? Or a mobile phone?
Summary: When Crowley saunters into a flat in Aziraphale's building, Aziraphale tells himself he's keeping an eye out for the man out of friendly neighbourliness, and not because he wants to ogle a cute arse in tight clothes. But when something goes awry with Crowley's laundry, Aziraphale is the only one around to save the day (or at least, Crowley's clothes). What he finds shocks him, but maybe it's just the invitation he needs to begin something new.
