Our homes are among the biggest factors in the carbon footprint for most Americans. What can we do about it?
Find out in my interview with David Takahashi of Boulder, Colorado. David and his wife Emily lost their home in the wildfire of 2010, and are somewhat Climate Refugees.
Starting in 2015, they began retrofitting their 60-year-old home. They reduced their carbon footprint from 100 pounds/day to 12 pounds/day. We'll hear how they did it and David's advice for others that want to address what David calls OCD: Obsessive Carbon Disorder.
We'll also talk about David's current campaign as he runs for Boulder City Council. Discover how his experience with his own home and a life of service led him to take this next step.
