While happiness is fleeting, it is joy, a fruit of the Spirit, that sticks with us. Even through our suffering is joy found, as perfection is the result of suffering righteously. We need to resist steadfastly, looking to Jesus Christ and our fellow brethren for strength. We may not see the worth in the suffering, but it will be well worth the reward. So, don't give up.
