To kick off the Christmas season we'll look at three angelic announcements in Luke 1 and 2. In each situation, the angel says, "do not fear!" Then, it is quickly followed with an announcement of great joy. We typically don't think that joyful proclamations start with fear, but when we dig deep, we see that Zechariah, Mary and the shepherds react initially with disbelief, confusion and outright terror! Join us at 10:30am and see how the birth of Christ leads us from those strong initial reactions to peace, joy, love and hope!
