Dr Jane Boulden discusses the different ways in which United Nations and Regional Organizations will respond to conflict in Africa. Dr Boulden draws on the findings from her edited volume 'Responding to Crisis in Africa: the United Nations and Regional Organizations' which came out in a second edition in 2013. She is Canada Research Chair in International Relations and Security Studies at the Royal Military College of Canada.
