The giving and receiving of gifts is synonymous with the Christmas season, as well as being an activity that brings joy and delight as we bless those around us it can also be one that brings stress and expectation and even overspending and pressure. Our Christmases are fit to burst and yet the good news of great joy that we receive at Christmas is of the greatest gift ever given in the most miraculous way, with great simplicity and humility and yet creating a wave of power beyond anything the world could’ve known. This gift is different. This gift is transformative. This gift is Jesus. How can we receive the gift of Jesus and everything that brings and how can we extend this greatest of gifts to others?
