This special edition of the Breaking Ground podcast reviews the difficult topic of suicide and mental health. Joining Steve Hadley is Vicky Gutteridge of the OLLIE Foundation and Jim Gelder, Technical Director at Mott MacDonald.

The OLLIE Foundation provides wellbeing, prevention and intervention events, training, talks and panel events for professionals, parents and students. Their mission is to reduce the incidence of suicide, particularly amongst our young people. Through their work OLLIE aims to reduce both the stigma and the fears people have in talking about suicide.

Jim, recently took the bold step of speaking publicly about coping with depression. A move that will help remove the stigma around mental health illnesses and give others the confidence that the industry is full of supportive friends and voices.
