Taka’s stellar reputation for musical diversity and artistic talent continues to welcome in creative opportunities. Collaborating with award winning producers Omer Fedi (The Kid Laroi, Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X, Sam Smith) Blake Slatkin (Lizzo, SZA, Benny Blanco), El Capitxn (KR) and Cashmere Cat (Kanye West, FKA Twigs, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande), plus several other.

Taken from collaboration upcoming debut record “THE GRIFFIN TAPES”, the release of EXPRESS serves as the perfect introduction to what can be expected from this collaborative EP effort by these two undeniable creative powerhouses. Using live recordings of the iconic Tokyo rail system, EXPRESS builds tension from the start. With Taka’s intense drums and samples accompanying Leon’s fast-paced and fierce bars, the duo has created a sonically captivating rap track. It showcases Leon and Taka wandering around the gritty streets of Tokyo.
