In today's podcast I talk about whether or not I feel it's worth it to pay for "Page Likes" over on Facebook.
In my personal opinion, yes. You can acquire 10,000 fans for $1,000 if you are getting fans for $0.10 a piece. As long as you take the time to provide valuable information to your fans, and you are targeting people in your buyer demographics, it makes sense.
I do not recommend just getting fans for the sake of having them though. You want to make sure that the people you are targeting in your ads are people who could become leads or customers for your business.
Otherwise you'll just have a bunch of people who aren't qualified to buy your product or service.
