Lisa Walters is a lifelong equestrian who offers Equine Assisted Educational programs at the EquuSatori Center in Northern CA. She is author of the book: In The Field With Horses / Exploring the Horse-Human Connection.
Beginning in 2006 through present day, Lisa has been part of a research team that studies the effects horses and humans have on each other when engaging in EAEL and EFP programs. The studies have revealed many positive physiological effects that horses have on a human's autonomic nervous systems. One of Lisa’s goals is to help inform the larger community of equine practitioners in how to enhance the healthful benefits of working with horses.
