The Holy Land is an area located roughly between the Mediterranean Sea and the Eastern Bank of the Jordan River, and is traditionally synonymous both with Biblical land of Israel and with the region of Palestine. Today, the term "Holy Land" usually refers to a territory corresponding to the modern states of Israel and Palestine. Jews, Christians and Muslims alike redard this land as holy. As you know, the Holy Land has been heavily in the news ever since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7th, 2023. Our guest today knows the Holy Land quite well. Dr. George Ceremuga is a family physician who practices holistic health and healing, and believes all we need to fix the world is to love one another. He is also the best-selling author of "My 50-Day Pentecost in the Holy Land."

On this episode of American Real, Roger asks Dr. George about God having a sense of humor when some people take life too seriously. "Each day is a new beginning," Dr. George says. "God's mercies and Grace are new for us each day. What happened in the past is the past. God doesn't define us by the past. He defines us when he wakes us up - what are we going to do for him today? I always say if you want to give the Lord a good laugh, tell him your plans. When when my will lines up with the will of the Lord, nothing's going to stop it, right? And so I am anointed by him and chosen by him just to spread the gospel message of salvation through healthcare."
