Dr. Hosam Kamel, director of geriatrics and extended care, at St. Joseph’s Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas and associate clinical professor of geriatrics at the department of geriatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, discusses the goals of managing patients with heart failure in long-term care, and offers pragmatic advice for physicians in managing patients with heart failure.
