Welcome to "Adoption Exposed" – I'm Tamiya Robles, your host. This podcast goes deep into the unfiltered and personal aspects of adoption, exploring my journey as a black, orphaned, foster and adopted foster child. Why did I start this podcast? Because I've noticed the curiosity, questions, and issues that many people have regarding adoption. Throughout my life, I've heard various adoption stories, from extreme to subtle, and I've always been intrigued by the different perspectives.

While I never considered my experience as particularly noteworthy, I've come to realize that being an orphan and a foster child is integral to my identity. In "Adoption Exposed," I'll explore how these elements influenced my life and how they may intersect in unexpected ways.

This podcast is my personal journey, but it goes beyond just my story. I'll share insights, discuss adoption-related topics, and bring on guests to provide a broad perspective on adoption experiences. Expect unfiltered discussions, as I prefer to talk off the cuff and keep things authentic.
