Greetings everyone, we are back from our 4-month break and we are now bringing you an episode that’s been long overdue – episode 41. On mix A we have a deep mix compiled by the whole crew then we have myself, Mlindo Kev on Mix B and dj Hlex on mix D. Cue Master will be back on mix A on our 42nd episode dropping in February. On the guest mix we have a gentleman by the name of Sibonginhlanhla Anele Ngubane whose better known by his music pseudonym S.A.N (Taste) is a self-taught Producer/Composer/ Remixer from an area named Newlands East, in the city of Durban which is based in South Africa. He started composing music in the year 2009 whilst he was still in high school, inspired by the likes of: Rocco, Blackwhole & Jimpster. just to name a few whom dominated the House Music scene in those years. S.A.N is a solo artist whom started releasing his music in 2012 and was formerly signed under E-Sole Records (S.A) & has a number of releases under his name which consists of three EP’s and a number of singles and remixes all released under various record labels. To name a few record labels we can include: Cultured Records, 6996 Music, Infant Soul Productions, Soul Shift Music, UM Recordings, Tainted House and Deep Afrika Records. S.A.N has did & still does a variety of House Music sub Genres such as: Soulful, Deep, Afro, Broken Beats/Nu-Jazz, Down Tempo etc… & he has his own types of styles developed from being able to master all these sub genres just to name a few of his styles(he refers to as “Taste”):Raw-Tech-which is a mixture of Electro & Afro beats with more of his uniqueness of rare Synths, Leads & Tremendous Melodies, Liquidated- which is broken beats riding on Deep Tech synths and leads harmonized by deep melodies, Jazz Tonic- which is Nu-Jazz filled with lot of melodies and a ditch/bridge which is a Walking Jazz type of beat. Most of these styles aren’t released as yet on projects but there are samples available on his Soundcloud page. Striving to work hard as a Producer/Composer/Remixer S.A.N is determined to put all his effort on his music so that it can be recognized Worldwide & enjoyed by House Music fans across the Universe.
