Actor. Podcast host. Comedian – and no, we're not talking about Tabari. This man is also a father (which Tabari is not even close to ever being as of yet). He's Yannis Pappas – and he's the latest guest to grace the mic on the latest episode of A Tight 45.
A man of many talents (and characters), there are plenty of places you've probably seen Yannis, even if you didn't know it. There's his 2014 Comedy Central Presents half hour special and his 2019 hours special Blowing the Light (available directly on his website and YouTube). He was also the host of NextVR's 2018-19 pre-pandemic virtual reality live stand-up series, Live In Gotham (44 episodes 2018-19), AOL's award winning original series, 2 Point Lead (a sports comedy show) ... In addition to serving as the co-host of MSG's sports fan show, The Bracket as well as ABC's Fusion Live. His 2016 album Let Me Be Yannis is available on iTunes and Spotify. He has also been part of the international Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, the New York Comedy Festival and is known for his immensely popular characters Mr. Panos and Maurica. He is also the co-host of the podcast Long Days with Yannis Pappas, which is available on YouTube and wherever you listen to podcasts.
On this episode (out on all major platforms on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021), the newfound friends come out the gates firing talking about a bunch of stuff at a rapid fire pace. (Seriously, we hope you can keep pace!) The episode ends, however, with a much more solemn tone as Tabari talks about a friend that is no longer with us.
