Indigenous people underwent loss of culture from various practices and systems such as residential schools. Motorcycles and Sweetgrass by Drew Hayden Taylor tells yet another fictional though realistic tale about how people residing in a transformed Anishnawbe community have become different than what their ancestors used to be.
