Dan is joined by rising star Kim Petras to discuss how her career launched from the internet, being a role model and her new album. At one point in her life, Kim was labeled as the youngest person to have sex reassignment surgery and after much media and press, she became a role model for the transgender community. Since then she has launched a pop career and has elevated within that role model figure for transgender people within the music industry. She discusses how YouTube and having an online presence helped her when she made her move to Hollywood and how putting out her music independently has helped shaped her into the artist she is today. She opens up about catching an ex-boyfriend cheating inspired many tracks on her new album ‘Clarity’ and how working with her friends made the experience into a positive one.
