After six successful seasons together on the beloved sitcom Reba, Melissa Peterman and Reba McEntire are delighting fans with a reunion on NBC’s new comedy series, Happy’s Place. Audiences fell in love with their comedic chemistry as Reba and Barbra Jean, and even though Reba has been off the air for nearly two decades, new generations continue to discover and adore the iconic duo.
Peterman was thrilled to reunite with her former co-star and longtime friend. For her, returning to work with McEntire felt like coming home. They have a natural shorthand and an instinctive understanding of each other’s comedic timing, a dynamic that Peterman believes will shine through in Happy’s Place.
