During a press conference on Thursday, U.S. Attorney in Manhattan Damian Williams summarized the 57-page indictment and alleged that Adams received roughly $100,000 in money, campaign contributions, first class flights, and hotel accommodations from Turkish government officials and businesses in exchange for political favors. 3:10pm- In December of 2023, New York City Mayor Eric Adams publicly criticized the Biden Administration’s failed immigration policy. Is the federal indictment case brought against him revenge for that criticism? White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the Department of Justice operates independently from the White House. 3:30pm- Paul Pelosi Unloads $500k of Visa Stock…Right Before DOJ’s Anti-Trust Lawsuit. Haley Strack of National Review reports: “Republicans on the House Oversight Committee launched an investigation on Wednesday to determine if the Biden administration misused taxpayer dollars to fly Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the U.S. to benefit Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign. In letters to top Biden administration officials, committee chairman James Comer wrote that then-president Donald Trump faced similar accusations from Democrats in 2019 of trying to use Zelensky to benefit his campaign ‘despite a lack of any evidence of wrongdoing. While appearing on HBO’s Real Time recently, Ruhle revealed she’ll be voting for Harris and believes Donald Trump is unfit to serve. Despite the friendly questions, Harris struggled throughout—at one point bizarrely repeating the term “holistically.” How bad was Harris’s performance?
