Manage episode 428359956 series 3554095
In this heartfelt episode of "Living Well Together: Big Life in a Small Town,” Dr. Terry and Lisa are honored to welcome Adrea Sanchez, a remarkable woman whose journey of faith, resilience, and creativity has touched many lives. Growing up in a military family in the United States, Adrea experienced the unique blessings and challenges of moving frequently, which taught her the beauty and diversity of different places and people. Her story is one of profound gratitude and a deep calling to serve others, both in her local community and across the globe.
Adrea's transformative experience began after graduating from Wright State University when she felt the call to full-time missions during a trip to Guatemala. Embracing the long-term commitment, she dedicated 20 years to serving with a non-profit organization, guided by the Holy Spirit in her journey. However, life took an unexpected turn when she returned to Ohio to care for her mother battling cancer, only to discover she too had cancer. This pivotal moment led to a year of healing and reflection, where Adrea found solace and purpose in her faith and family.
Today, Adrea combines her passion for creativity and her mission to spread God's word through her online business, creating digital products that uplift and encourage others. This venture not only provides her with the flexibility to stay close to her family but also allows her to continue serving her community in Guatemala. Her inspiring work includes journals and print-on-demand products featuring biblical messages, which have become a source of encouragement and joy for many.
Join us as Adrea shares her insights on balancing faith, family, and entrepreneurship, the importance of following God's guidance, and the fulfillment of living a life dedicated to blessing others. This episode is a testament to the power of endurance, creativity, and unwavering faith in overcoming life's challenges and embracing new opportunities.
