A creative entrepreneur who used to be a software programmer. Nigel Twumasi is the co-founder of the manga brand MAYAMADA. They built a brand that includes comics, video games, and youth engagement, and I was named to the 2019 56 Black Men campaign.
Nigel runs Mayamada's StoryBoard program in schools, colleges, and youth centers. He uses fun and engaging storytelling to spark young people's imaginations and creative potential.
Nigel also runs GamePad, an industry-recognized community gaming event. Since 2015, their team has used video games to promote diversity and inclusion. The festival offers online and live programs for young people from under-represented communities to learn about video games.
