claireowellness · Woman Awake - Episode 099 - Unembodied Knowledge to Embodied wisdom and light Listen to Episode 099: I was reflecting on something my friend and biz coach, Rach Macdonald said the other day - this is foundation year one in my business, even though this is technically the 10th year of my business. And if I look back through the last 10 years I can see the journey of healing, transformation and embodiment through the lens of my business alongside the maiden years, early motherhood and now through the other side of much shadow work. A journey from the unembodied knowing that I have lived from since childhood, through the shadow work and wound healing into the embodied light. In this episode I share a personal story from when I was 14 in the Cedars of Lebanon having my future and my soul read by a mystic. I share how my rite of passage and initiation HAD to happen through the challenging ride that was early motherhood (for me) and how each of us has an activation and initiation at different times and in different ways. Motherhood for me has been - at times - about the shadow, moving through the fire. Unearthing wounds. I dive into shadow work and the healing journey - not as a destination or a forever place but as a necessary way through towards embodiment and of our own soul, destiny and ancient wisdom. I unpack how many of us 'KNOW' alot - intellectually, or though an unknown source of wisdom and how this can remain in a really heady, un-integrated space until we have our own human experiences and fire-initiations to embody the knowing into wisdom that can be shared and felt. Personally, I KNOW alot. Information, ideas, thoughts, clear insights - they land within me fast. Sometimes it feels quite random, but in THIS human incarnation I've had to have embodied experiences to fully appreciate and comprehend the ancient wisdom that lives within - it has needed life experience to move from "knowing" or information into wisdom, space holder, teaching and more. Now, today I am not fully realised. NO. However, I am now embodying the wisdom I’ve carried for eons. I’m living it, breathing it. I'm finally starting to understand in my heart and body and soul what embodiment means. Integration between mind, body and soul. Knowing, mentally understanding is only the beginning of the journey. The deepening and refining that comes through initiation is where the wisdom has flourished and poured forth. Why am I sharing this? 1. Accepting where you are at… and knowing and trusting that this is the place you need to be. 2. Learning to appreciate the shadow times. This is a rite of passage, an initiation. This is always part of the spiral journey of the feminine. I know this place well. I’m comfortable here. But I am no longer IN this place (well at least for extended periods of time) It’s part of the process, but not the end goal. 3. Embodying the light, creating from the light, being in the light, being your true essence, or BEING your sovereign self, this can take time for some of us. This can be years of undoing karma, a coming of age that is required and so on… and when you get here, celebrate it. Own it.
