We will go back in time to 55 B.C. to test the assumption that English law is linked to the laws of the Roman Empire. Then, we will proceed at a rapid pace and cover 1,100 years of English history and examine how the law in England evolved up to 1066 A.D. immediately prior to the Norman Invasion.
