#51: Rachel Schofield - from BBC journalist to a career coach supporting mums
Manage episode 333467522 series 2823846
Rachel swapped a successful career at the BBC for an equally successful coaching career, supporting mums returning to work, women who feel a loss of self after taking a period of leave to raise their children.
We talk about the real struggle of working parents in careers that can't be home based, like reporting, why a career change is often felt to be the only choice and why it's OK to have a career that isn't linear.
We also share our experience of raising two daughters and how we hope they feel empowered to follow whichever path they choose.
