After a summer break we are back with a brand new (kind of!) book "Earth Warp!"
This book is another from the BBC Look and Read series which ran from the 70s into the 90s and many of us 30 and 40 somethings will remember some of these series very fondly.
This tale has an environmental edge, and (unfortunately) for a tale with was written 25 years ago very little has changed so therefore still has relevance despite it's age on paper. Without giving away too many spoilers, Southbeach is visited by Ollie the Alien, a town blighted by pollution. A group of local children befriend Ollie, who tells then that a probe sent from his planet which landed there 100 years ago may explode due to the pollution in the seas there. But who else might be affected by the town pollution problem?
