Death anxiety and fear of dying are common experiences. They are real, but not true, because death is simply a transition from one world to another; it is when our spirit (that is already alive in us now) is freed from the physical body and continues to live a fully sensory life in the spiritual world. We have spiritual senses, and so after death we continue to see, hear, smell, taste, and touch, think, love and grow, only what we are sensing and experiencing is spiritual reality rather than physical reality. Angels welcome us immediately after we die and care and protect us through the transition.
