The passing of time, especially when that time is highlighted by a birthday-a special birthday, is oftentimes met with melancholy. This special occasion for me, my 60th birthday is filled with just that. I look back over time and I can truly state that my life experiences have definitely run the gamut. Experiences for which I am proud, experiences that have created tremendous sadness and experiences that I would circumvent and replace with those fostered by better decisions.
However, there is one thing of which I am absolutely certain-I would not be the person that I am now without the experiences and the relationships, both good and bad, that I have endured over time.
This episode focuses on the memories of a routine day during my early childhood-prior to having to "hit it" with my dad-and those memories that I now treasure for the impact they played on my personal evolution.
I thank God for granting me the privilege of memories. I also thank HIM for the mercy and grace-each day- that allows me the opportunity to make more.
