As vaccines emerge to curb the global COVID-19 pandemic, the next looming question is: “What will happen to the economy?” Some businesses are gone forever. New ones have emerged. National government have doled out trillions to keep families and small businesses afloat? But what does this mean for the economic future of the world? In a paper dated January, 2021, The World Economic Forum released their economic prognosis, the third chapter of which was entitled: “Global Economy: Heading into a Decade of Disappointments?” In other words, it will be a long-term journey before global economy is stabilized.
However, there is hope!! God has given His people the “power to create wealth.” God does this so that He can establish His covenant with us (Deut. 8:18) and work through His people to see nations transformed. In this episode, we talk to Neal Arnold, the Chief Executive Officer and President of Sunflower Bank headquartered in Denver, CO about biblical keys to prospering in every season. Neal shares personal testimonies about how obeying biblical principles like “love your neighbor as yourself,” causes your soul to prosper . . . and ultimately, your bank account to prosper.
We hear how Neal is always looking to bless somebody else. His whole orientation is how can other people be blessed. He shares that by training our hearts and minds to look out for others, we experience a massive mindset shift, which is the exact opposite of envy or jealousy. When we live in accordance with the principle of blessing others first, blessing follows at every level. Financial prosperity comes from this basic principle of meeting the needs of others with products that will help them succeed.
