Show Description

The freedom we experience in Christ and through the Holy Spirit is indescribable at best. Stories relating our human experience(s) are often what bring us together. Today, let us discuss our traumatic experiences and the related forgiveness.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” (ESV Bible, 2001, 2 Corinthians 3:17-18).

When the Holy Spirit indwells within us, we cannot help but want to share the freedom gained. We share with a group of people, who do the same, and the message spreads over and over. It is a direct antithesis of trauma and the way trauma spreads from one innocent person to the next. Down that path, we enter the stress response repetitively, relating physiological responses to the Bible.

So there you have it, another example of something Biblical represented in our anatomy; another example of God’s powerful design. We pray that our message today has encouraged you and that you will seek the Bible more fervently than ever. Blessing to you our brothers and sisters.

Stress is not the goal, be well.
