Phyllis. Once a Christian devotional author, Phyllis switched genres as the result of a case she was on as an expert witness; a story she has since wanted to tell. The names, places, and events are disguised. The Christmas Slayings, published December 7, 2019, is the story of a small gang and their victims. The gang terrorized a mid-size, Ohio town the week before Christmas 1992.

She has since published two more true crime novels: Wives Who Kill and Husbands Who Kill. Kids Who Kill will be published shortly.
