Welcome to an extra episode of Leaders in Finance, a special one as we recorded a live panel with over 150 people in the audience. We were at the EYe on Banking and Insurance conference on the 24th of November 2022 in Fort Voordorp, organized by EY. In the panel I spoke with 5 amazing guests about maximizing long-term value for all stakeholders, that includes employees, communities, customers and investors. We had a wide ranging conversation, where we spoke among many other things about ESG, why the E gets more attention than the S, sustainable finance, the role of banks, capital markets, insurers and investors and what drives them on a personal level regarding this topic. So let me introduce the guests.

Anneka Treon, Chief Economist at Van Lanschot Kempen, she has been with van Lanschot for about 13 years in various management positions and is regularly featured as a capital markets commentator at among others Bloomberg and CNBC television.

Jellie Banga, CEO of Impact Institute and also Supervisory Board member of Invest International and Lendahand. Previously she was the Executive Board member at Triodos Bank and 12 years with ING.

Jacqueline van den Ende: Co-founder and CEO of Carbon Equity. Previously she was with among others Peak Capital, HAL investments.

Zeynep Deldag: EYs Banking and Capital Markets Leader for the Netherlands.

Loes Andringa: EYs Insurance Leader for the Netherlands.
