The weekend is fast approaching and that means we’re back with a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to make sense of everything that’s happened here in Edmonton and around the NHL over the last seven days. On this week’s show, we welcomed DailyFaceoff's Frank Seravalli to help us break down the upcoming month, the Cup finals, and a whole lot more.

Kicking off today's episode, we jumped in with a look at the upcoming buyout window and whether or not the Oilers are likely to use this as an opportunity to get rid of either James Neal or Mikko Koskinen. That's not to say that we liked the idea of carrying dead cap space on the books, but rather if it makes sense to use the initial savings to try and find a better option. From there, we dove into the rumours that Vladimir Tarasenko wants out of St. Louis and had a discussion about the Oilers potentially chasing the 40-goal man even with the rash of shoulder injuries he's had over the past couple of seasons. With rumours in mind, we welcomed NHL insider, Frank Seravalli, to help us make sense of what's going on around the league as we approach the expansion draft and free agency. Will the Oilers be as busy this offseason as we all hope they will be? Frank had the answers. Lastly, we wrapped up this week's podcast with another round of hot and cold performers as we discussed the good and bad news from the last seven days in what was an eventful one in the National Hockey League.
