This is the second of a two-part deep dive into abusive relationships. I am joined by the incredible abuse recovery coach Karleigh Lynne and we go in hard on all things abusive relationships. In this second episode, we talk about what abuse feels like, how to summon the courage to leave, and what you can expect from the other side of leaving. This is a very difficult topic surrounded by a culture of silence and shame and it's high time we broke some of the silence.
This episode comes with a trigger warning that we are discussing domestic abuse, including non-consent and various forms of violence. I urge you to give yourself a lot of grace if you are or have been in this situation, but also that you do listen if you can. We talk about the very subtle signs which start so many abusive situations and I recommend this for people who think there may be something concerning going on for them, those who have lfet abuse, those still surviving, and those who just want to know more about abusive dynamics.
