Today’s guest Life Athlete is Dr. Gertrude Tavernier. Gertrud always pursued the philosophy of 'a healthy mind in a healthy body' and she started to see that for many people a missing piece was a healthy sex life, and so she built a tool for women to help foster a healthy relationship with sex. The elegant sensual audio app Maeve offers women, and couples, a hands-on tool for healthy intimate pleasure. It is bluntly speaking a masturbation app but it is also so much more. This is only one slice of what this amazing human is up to but it is the primary focus of this conversation. When I first heard about this project, I told Gertrude that I wanted to lend my voice to it and this is a start. Because of her commitment to help people live more connected lives, Gertrude has embarked on a journey she had never envisioned and discovered a deeper connection with herself, her mother, and her purpose.
