The troupe challenged Shadow Nemesis on his motivations for remaining with them, which ended in him throwing the Doctor Deputy into a well, but Tyler rescued the squire and caused him to reflect on the merits of doing good. Del led the troupe in a mind meld with Shadow Master and they learned that Shadow Nemesis could in fact let Adam out whenever he wanted to, Tyler received confirmation from Ezra that they could complete their quest without Shadow Nemesis if they found a replacement Mistwalker, and New Rogue began pelting Shadow Nemesis with rocks for his comments about killing Ezra. Will Del be able to pull them back together?
