En este capítulo Country Joe & The Fish, el grupo de Berkeley, editan su segundo LP ‘I Feel Like I’m Fixin To Die’. Elyse Weinberg, una cantante folk de Ontario, en Canadá, publica su primer LP Elyse, acompañada, entre otros, por la guitarra de su paisano Neil Young. It’s a Beautiful Day, el grupo de San Francisco, editan su primer LP llamado como el grupo. El disco contiene el soberbio tema que les puso en el mapa del Rock’n Roll. Los prolíficos Creedence Clearwater Revival publican su tercer LP ‘Green River’ y el cuarto ‘Willy & The Poorboys’. The Band editan su segundo LP ‘The Band’ (‘The Brown Album’ para los amigos) que lleva algunas de las canciones más emblemáticas del grupo. Arlo Guthrie, el hijo del legendario músico folk Woody Guthrie, publica su segundo LP ‘Running Down the Road’. Los Byrds editan su octavo LP ‘Ballad Of Easy Rider’.
