We are a phenomenal group of humans, excelling in education and career despite the odds. Or at least trying to excel. For some of us, Beyonce’s “You Won’t Break My Soul” was a mantra we were repeating way before she elevated it to a House Queen Classic. We’ve seen it in the news, the 4 women who filed complaints against Facebook for anti-black racism which launched a system probe by the EEOC as well as complaints against Google allegedly steering black workers into lower paying jobs and using their knowledge while denying them chances to advance. This is just another Monday for some of us. So today, we wanted to bring on our Sister in Law to discuss Equal Employment Opportunity Commission complaints.

Debbie Aderinto is a Black woman in her mid-30s. She is originally from Nigeria, but currently lives in the Philadelphia area. Debbie is an employment attorney for a global technology company where she is responsible for all labor, employment and HR/workplace issues in the company's North and Latin America regions. Not only does she have degrees on degrees and top notch expertise, but she is amazing AF! She speaks 2 other languages in addition to English. She’s an avid Peloton user and enjoys listening to Afrobeats music, spending time with family and watching soccer games.
