Episode 522 Rickson Gracie is a First Class Father, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Martial Arts Legend. He is a member of the Gracie family, the most prominent martial arts family, the third oldest son of Hélio Gracie. Rickson reigned as world Jiu Jitsu champion in both the middle heavyweight and open divisions. He retired from fighting with an undefeated record. In November 2014 he became an inductee of the Legends of MMA Hall of Fame. He is the author of a bestselling book, BREATH: A LIFE IN FLOW, an insightful memoir that weaves together the story of Gracie’s stunning career with the larger history of the Gracie family dynasty and the founding of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, showing how the connection between mind and body can be harnessed for success both inside and outside the ring.
