Episode 18 - Steven Jarvis: Cape to Cape
Manage episode 451819333 series 3572987
Today’s episode is a little different and a whole lot of fun because I have a very special guest, my husband Steve! He’s here to turn the tables and interview me about my recent 7-day supported hike along the stunning Cape to Cape track. But don’t let the "support person" title fool you, this man was equal parts cheerleader, chauffeur, gear hauler, and accommodation extraordinaire.
Together, we’ll unpack the highs and lows of this epic adventure like navigating rocky paths, battling long lonely beaches and long drives in between. You’ll hear about the moments that tested my patience, the laughs that kept us going, and how this journey became more than just a hike. It was a metaphor for resilience and teamwork.
Expect some playful banter, a few “did-that-really-happen” moments, and maybe even some insider stories about what it takes to keep a hiker and her support crew moving forward. So, lace up your boots, or just grab a cuppa, and join us as we dive into the challenges and triumphs of my Cape to Cape adventure!
