Chris Farrell is a nature photographer who has spent three decades behind the camera capturing images from the land, air and sea. Chris is most at home flying over the coasts and oceans of Australia at between 1,000 and 2,000 feet, taking his unique aerial pictures. Chrisโs collection of aerial whale photography is among the largest in Australia, and his images have been instrumental in identifying new individual Southern Right Whales to science and assisting researchers in understanding their seasonal movements. Chris has also co-authored a number of Australian wildlife books, covering reptiles, mammals and birds, and has a passion for bird conservation in his home state of Victoria, Australia.
