We are now well into the fourth industrial revolution with the fifth just around the corner. As engineers we have always been at the forefront of these changes, however the rules are changing. Now more than ever we need to focus on outcomes, the benefits we provide and the environments that we set. The human centred approach is a common theme. We have fantastic opportunity to support these changes and address the challenges that are ahead of us.

Our Talking Buildings guest this month is Tim Spies from Aurecon, he is there Global Leader of their Building Mechanical team and Client Director for commercial property within Australia. Tim will share his views on the role we have to play in the future of engineering and lesson we can learn from other industries.
