Welcome back to the Invasions Series. This series is all about the oldest stories of Ireland, and the people who came to this land from afar over thousands of years. And this is the very last episode of a long series taken from the Book of Invasions. This cycle of Irish Myth is also known as the “Mythic Cycle” of Irish Mythology and we are sad to close the lid on this chapter… for now. We talk about the whole season, the music, and the madness that is contained in it. We also reflect on our process, how much has changed in a year, and how much we’ve grown thanks to our supporters on Patreon and our followers on YouTube and other Podcast Platforms. You have all helped us grow, invest in our podcast, and improve the quality of what we put out. So thank you to everyone who supports us in every way. This last chat is about one of our favourite characters in Irish Mythology, and it is one that we hoped you enjoyed last week. A deep dive into the mind of a man who has lived for thousands of years and all that would come with the mental strain of seeing trees blossom, grow, age, then fall and decay. All in what appears to be a single year of your life. We could hardly get our heads around that, but we chatted about it anyway and we’d love to hear from you in case you had a different thought on the matter. Comment, below, like and subscribe to this channel to help us grow.
