What’s Happening with the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing?

Three months after the highly anticipated ribbon cutting for the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing on the 101 Freeway at Liberty Canyon Road, yet another mountain lion met a tragic end attempting to cross the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley. In this episode, Thousand Oaks Acorn editor Kyle Jorrey meets via Zoom with Beth Pratt of the National Wildlife Federation to get an update on the crossing, which will play an instrumental role in future mountain lion survival. Pratt, who is a project leader for the crossing, shares how the bridge became a possibility and what work has been done with Caltrans since the April 22 event.
