Indian Women in STEM - Rebroadcast
Manage episode 270187004 series 2591958
In this episode of the BJPod, we have new hosts and a few new perspectives. In this iteration, our new hosts discuss the challenges that face women pursuing a career in STEM in India. Starting from the early motivating factors for a career in Science to the challenges that come with being a minority in a typical engineering classroom, this pod has it all. Also, how does it feel to be in an all-girls engineering college? In the second segment of the pod, the hosts discuss the questions that faced them while deciding to opt for higher education overseas. Finally, they discuss how ultra-competitive workplaces can often be insensitive to women without acknowledging it. As with all our episodes, the hosts end with a discussion on how they found their politics.
