In this podcast episode, we had the pleasure to speak with Rebecka Rydå, Investment Manager at Industrifonden.
For the last six years Rebecka has worked with investments in entrepreneur-lead growth companies, first at venture capital firm Varenne and later at newly started Zenith Group. Rebecka started as CFO at Varenne and then transitioned to interim CEO. Rebecka also has a background as an accountant at Ernst & Young.
Industrifonden is a venture capital investor based in Stockholm, Sweden, with a Life Science and Technology portfolio that stretches across the Nordics.
In this conversation we discuss (among other topics) the delicate balance of scaling a team and investing in deep tech companies. Rebecka: "I hope that more and more VCs will look towards deep tech and new technologies, and have the courage to invest in more transformative ideas."
